Sumava race report

It was a great sunny scooter weekend in the Czech Republic. 31 Men and 10 women faced the Sumava climbs and downhills. It turned out to be the most interesting league race of the Czech season till now. Saturday 27km race (12 km for women) was again in hands of Ladislav Provod who showed his ass to the rest of his team members (Petr Pesta, Karel Cvalín) on the 10th km and took the victory
.

The battle for other places was really interesting. 12 men group was riding together during the whole race. Team tactics and suprising attacks made this race excellent. All of the competitors enjoyed it, the common voice said:"This was the scooter Tour de France:"

Marketa Štejrová took the victory in the women pole as well on Sunday, when she broke the track record. Ladislav Provod made himself superb on Sunday in the 7,5km uphill time trial. He was the first man in a history who run the race under 18 minutes. Moreover, to compare with previous season, when only Ladislav was able to run the distance under 20 minutes (together with Porthin and Vickholm), this weekend 5 Czech kickers did so!
